Yes! Today!
Meaning right now! Why are we so full of exclamation marks? Because
MiniBoone is the most exciting new band on the planet. The intensity
of their amazing live shows was actually captured on this new
recording. How do I know? I was there to record it, ya big dummy!
But you don't have to take my word for it - read what these guys have
to say:

"MiniBoone has fast become one of Brooklyn's most energetic and
entertaining live bands. Their spastic and nervy live shows have paid
off, with mentions in many blogs, including msn.com's CMJ coverage.
The praise is well deserved; their songs are catchy, with jerky,
stop-start riffs that recall the best moments of post-punk icons Devo
and Talking Heads, with a healthy dose of the modern indie-rock of
Arcade Fire and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah."
from QuietColor

"Of course not everything sent to me is adored the way I immediately
fell for the pop hooks and catchy sounds of MiniBoone's debut EP.
These six songs are instantaneous, songs that scream to be listened to
again and again, and nag at you if you don't listen to them enough
times."
from PopTartsSuckToasted where they were "band of the week."

"MiniBoone, a five-piece from New York caught our attention by
seemingly encompassing the best traits of indie music from the past 30
years while leaving most of the annoying parts behind."
from Music ZeitGeist - where you can find they were "indie
artist of the month." Are you starting to see a trend here?

I could go on and on, but I would be wasting the time it takes for you
to go buy this amazing new EP.

Get it here!
It's called "We Did
This On Purpose." It's a hook-laden edgy-yet-melodically compelling
tour de force straight out of NYC. Take my word for it - these guys
rock. What? You don't believe me? Well here's what Last FM had to
say about them:

Brooklyn's anti-heroes, The Walk Ons, kick out supercharged,
hook-riddled tunes that play on in your head long after your ears stop
ringing. Infusing garage-rock and power-pop influences like The Clash,
Cheap Trick and Weezer, The Walk Ons play timehonored Rock 'n' Roll,
tight and loud with just the right amount of garbage.

And Taxi.com said this:

"Rock, power pop, a little alt. Puts me in the mind of Elvis Costello
meets the Knack meets Paul Westerberg/The Replacements."

You will find that your purchase of "We Did This On Purpose"
is the cheapest when bought directly through us. $4 for 5 songs?!?! Are you kidding me? As they say in those amazing late night ExtenZe
commercials, you have nothing to lose...but a whole lot to gain.

Can't get enough of The Walk Ons? Make sure you go to these sites:
The Walk Ons Website
Myspace
Facebook
ReverbNation

See them live at Parkside Lounge in NYC's lower east side on February 12th
music scene, there is one band that stands out as the most exciting and
energetic. In a very short time, MiniBoone has proven they have both
style and substance. The new six song EP, Big Changes, features
totally infectious melodies fused with spastic-yet-controlled rhythms
to create something completely new. There's been comparisons to
Talking Heads, Devo and Pavement and they are all welcome - but one
listen and you'll find MiniBoone is in a league all their own.

The Walk Ons - We Did This On Purpose
Digital $4
These dive bar anti-heroes kick out supercharged, hook-filled
tunes that play on in your head long after your ears stop ringing.
Drawing on rock and power-pop influences like Combat Rock-era Clash,
mid-70s
Stones, Cheap Trick playing Budokan, early Weezer and Bloc
Party, The Walk Ons put a "Made in Brooklyn" stamp on time-honored Rock
n' Roll, played tight and loud with a shit-eating grin.

The Candy Snatchers - Down At Delilah's
Digital $9 - LP Forthcoming

The unfortunate death of guitarist Matthew Odietus in 2008 has left
us with the world's most dangerous band's final studio output. This
latest recording features more of the same burning rock-n-roll that you
would always expect from these maniacs. After 15 years as one of the
best and most out-of-control situations anyone has ever seen or heard
(both on and off the stage), "Down At Delilah's" shows that they never
slowed down. 14 tracks dripping with the same rage, fire and intensity
these guys had back in 1993.

The Bamboo Kids - The Way Things Are
Digital $4 -CD Forthcoming
From this latest recorded output, it seems as if our little Bamboo Kids
