March 2010 Archives

Quick, go straight to our newest and so far only music video: Cool Kids Cut Out Of the Heart Itself!

Yep, that's Sam's face getting shaved you see in the still frame for the video before you push play to play it.  What else happens in the course of the two minutes and five seconds of the video?  That's why you push play, dude.

See if you can guess how much you like this video.  It was made with the invaluable help of one Jesse Garrison.  Thanks, Jesse.

On a related note, MiniBoone is doing some (ok a lot of) stuff, also:

We'll be in Ithaca, NY this weekend, playing at the Slaughterhouse (803 Coddington if you're inclined to go) on Saturday.  Playing with Bunny's a Swine, our great friends from Northampton.

We'll be also playing two shows next week in New York City:

Tuesday the 6th at Cake Shop with Ava Luna and Ball of Flame Shoot Fire.

Friday the 9th at Fort Useless with EULA and Locket.

THEN we go to Philly to play the so exciting it hurts to breathe Human Barbeque on Saturday at Pi Lam with the likes of Double Dagger, Capstan Shafts, and Anamanaguchi  (James Keary fans, be forewarned, he will not be in attendance - we're messing this one out as a four piece rock band.)

Oh, there's more.  But we'll have to tell you about it later.  Didactic and condescending end to the post: Go read a book!

Sincerely,

_Doug

Hello everyone,

You may now proceed to the Deli Magazine website at http://nyc.thedelimagazine.com/ and observe our smiling mugs at the top of the page, right next to SUPERCUTE! (if we don't appear at first, try refreshing the page). That's right folks, as previously mentioned on Facebook, both MiniBoone and SUPERCUTE! got so many votes in this poll that the Deli decided to call it a draw. And who doesn't like to draw?!?

WE'D LIKE TO THANK:

- SUPERCUTE!, with whom we share this highest of honors. We each got nearly 1000 votes! Alright!
- Our friends and fans who voted for us
- Nine Inch Nails fans, thanks dudes
- Phish phans, thanks brehs
- Sam's mom, who is a high school teacher, and asked her class to vote for us. Stay in school kids!
- Craig's aunt who showed our music to the teacher of her stain glass-making class, and the teacher liked it so much she played our music for the class.
- Our parents and siblings

Thanks to everybody who voted for us, forwarded the poll to their friends, and tolerated our countless messages! That was some hard work you all did! We're amazed at how many people we got to vote in the end! Thanks everybody!

Sincerely,
The Boys of MiniBoone
