On a related note, MiniBoone is doing some (ok a lot of) stuff, also:

We'll be in Ithaca, NY this weekend, playing at the Slaughterhouse (803 Coddington if you're inclined to go) on Saturday. Playing with Bunny's a Swine, our great friends from Northampton.

We'll be also playing two shows next week in New York City:

Tuesday the 6th at Cake Shop with Ava Luna and Ball of Flame Shoot Fire.

Friday the 9th at Fort Useless with EULA and Locket.

THEN we go to Philly to play the so exciting it hurts to breathe Human Barbeque on Saturday at Pi Lam with the likes of Double Dagger, Capstan Shafts, and Anamanaguchi (James Keary fans, be forewarned, he will not be in attendance - we're messing this one out as a four piece rock band.)

Oh, there's more. But we'll have to tell you about it later. Didactic and condescending end to the post: Go read a book!

That's right folks, as previously mentioned on Facebook, both MiniBoone and SUPERCUTE! got so many votes in this poll that the Deli decided to call it a draw. And who doesn't like to draw?!?

James's Honduran Life and TONIGHT!

Well Doug, I think that although my Honduran life was somewhere in between your two pictures, it was leaning towards the former.

Yeah, so I was in Honduras for the past two weeks. What? I would like to tell you exactly where I was, but I was sworn to secrecy. It was a blood oath type situation, sorry, you know how that is. It was fantastic though! I was there writing pop songs for a new girl duo called Suspicious Package. Check them out here: http://www.suspiciouspackage.info/. I can't wait until these songs come out! I have been working with these girls on and off for a little bit now and these girls are (at the risk of sounding British) brilliant! Look out for them in the future; when they come back from their Honduran secret island retreat, they are going to bring it, HARD!!!! Speaking of great new music, two things.

1) I heard this song a lot while I was down there:

This song came out a couple of years ago, but I dont remember if it was ever popular in the US. I, and what seems like most Hondurans alike, think it's great. and 2) MINIBOONE CD RELEASE PARTY TONIGHT!!!!!!! Come out to Glasslands tonight where we are going to do our own particular style of rockin' it, which is very fun. We go on around 10:30, but there are going to be 3 other fantastic bands playing with us. The line up goes like this: 8:30 Pet Ghost Project 9:30 I'm Turning Into 10:30 Miniboone 11:30 Shark? HYPE!!! HYPE!!! HYPE!!!!!!

Hi everyone/everybody. Habitual visitors to miniboone.com will notice a slight change of scenery, though the same comforting background image is still here. This is our new home for a while. It is cozy.

Why the new home? What kind of rock have you been living in? A magic rock? A sedimentary rock?
